Per Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors motion on December 8, 2020, the County has formed a Community Advisory Committee (CAC) made up of leaders and stakeholders from the community and Airport to provide input throughout the process.

The CAC will use their local insight and knowledge to understand community concerns and identify new opportunities, such as the creation of local jobs, community beneficial uses, and dedicated open space at the airport.

During the 12-month planning process, members will need to commit to attending at least six bi-monthly meetings, approximately two hours in length. These meetings will also be open to the public.
